An attractive, larger pyrite with many excellent surfaces. On one side, the surface formation was incomplete or negative crystals were formed.

Pyrite crystallizes in the cubic crystal system and forms very versatile crystal shapes (e.g. cube, octahedron, pentagon dodecahedron, mixed shapes). Chemically it is iron sulfide (FeS), is also known as fool's gold and can actually contain gold in very small amounts. However, this is not the cause of the attractive yellow metallic shine.
