This lot of blue Apatite from Mererani has excellent surfaces and has hardly any inclusions except for a general minimal cloudiness. Here is a long, blue crystal, without inclusions, but visibly cloudy; no end faces.

Apatite is a mineralogical term for a variety of minerals. The most common is Fluorapatite, a fluorine-containing calcium phosphate that forms opaque to clear, hexagonal crystals in various colors (colorless, yellow, pink, green, violet, blue, brown). It has a medium hardness (Mohs = 5) and, depending on the color, a clear pleochroism.
