Prehnite is not a rare mineral in itself, but collectible crystals of this silicate with a beautiful color are not common. The best crystals come from Mererani in Tanzania, where you can find excellent collectors' grades of yellow, green and even blue Prehnite, some of which are associated with other minerals such as Tanzanite and thus attract the attention of international collectors with their extraordinary paragenesis.
