This flat Aquamarine crystal is slightly turquoise to yellowish - depending on the light; with a complete end face, but the crystal is missing half of the tip and has a small damage on the side; the surfaces are slightly etched, which gives the crystal an attractive satin gloss. Excellent transparency.

Aquamarines are the blue variety of Beryl, a cyclic beryllium aluminum silicate that crystallizes in the hexagonal crystal structure. The color palette ranges from pale turquoise blue to navy blue (rare) to green, with a smooth transition to yellow Heliodor. Due to its high hardness and the partially crystal-clear crystals, Aquamarine is also very popular in the jewelry industry.
